FDA Alerts Pet Owners About Potentially Toxic Popular Pet Foods

Attention Pet Owners!

The Food & Drug Administration is alerting pet owners and veterinary professionals about recalls of several dry dog and cat foods after receiving complains that dogs and cats eating the the food experienced vitamin D toxicity.

Among the brands being recalled are: Nutrisca, Natural Life Pet Products, Sunshine Mills, Inc., ANF, Inc., Lidl, Kroger brand ELM Pet Foods Inc., and Ahold Delhaize. Check www.fda.gov for more information and a list of the specific foods that were recalled from these brands.
